Available Payment Methods at Service Areas

All service areas accept Japanese Yen and most major credit cards (please check for availability). However, we do not currently accept international travelers’ checks (either in foreign currency or Yen). Many Service Areas are equipped with Edy Smart Card Payment systems. Please refer to the various Service Area pages on this site for availability.

The following credit cards may be used at Service Areas along the Central Japan Expressway:

UnionPay (China) Cards can be used at the following Service Areas:

• Makinohara SA Bound for Nagoya
• Taga SA Bound for Osaka
• Nagaragawa SA Bound for Toyama and Kanazawa
