Osu-Kannon is a temple for the Chisan sect of Shingonshu, located in Nagoya city, Aichi. This temple is dedicated to Sho-Kannon, and the sacred ground is one of the top three areas dedicated to Kannon in Japan (Asakusa Kannon and Tsu Kannon are the others). Cafes, used cloth shops and casual cloth shops for young people are standing side by side on the nearby main street. Additionally, a number of computer appliance shops line the streets, some of the best in Nagoya. Since its renovation, there are now many interesting spots for young and old alike in Osu-Kannon.
