Daio Wasabi Farms

Daio Wasabi Farm is the most famous and largest sightseeing spot in Azumino since 1913, and is located in the corner of Azumino with flooded wasabi paddies which uses the spring water from the Northern Alps. You can see this vivid green Wasabi grown with the fresh water from Northern Alps over 150,000 square meters. They also have many hiking trails for looking at wasabi, as well as the water mill which was the basis for the movie "Yume" directed by Kurosawa Akira.
