Yoro Waterfall

Yoro Waterfall

This famous waterfall and famous water were chosen as a "selection of 100 water falls of Japan" and as a "selection of 100 excellent water" issued by the Ministry of Environment. The waterfall is 30m high, 4m wide, and is surrounded by large rocks and old trees deep in Yoro Park. Although it requires a 700-800m walk on a steep road to get to the waterfall, there is a sightseeing lift between the parking lot and the waterfall. So if you catch it, it is relatively easy to get to the waterfall. There is also a legend called "Yoro Koushi," in which the water of the falls was turned into sake through devotion to ones parents.
